- Owners, Steve and Val Morris. Studied under Carolina Ramsell and working in stained glass for16 years. They purchased the shop from carolina in September of 2017.

Background
We have always had an interest in art and history. Steve and Val Morris learned the art of stained glass through Carolina Ramsell. Carolina studied in Houston, Texas. It all started by making windows for our homes and gifts for friends and family. We soon received requests from others which turned the hobby into a business. In 2007, Carolina opened “Creations by Carolina” next door to the Galesburg Civic Art Center.
We have created custom stained glass windows and lamps for private homes and businesses in Galesburg and the surrounding communities in Peoria, Rockford, and Chicago, Illinois. We also have windows in San Francisco, Washington DC, and Rome, Italy. Inspiration often comes from our travels, nature, and the masters; Tiffany, Lafarge, and Frank Lloyd Wright.
We have restored many antique windows from private homes and churches in the Galesburg, IL area. Saving these old windows from being destroyed is very rewarding.
In addition to traditional stained glass, we do work in mosaic and fused glass as well.
We offer classes in stained glass in either foil or lead; along with classes in fused glass and mosaics.
